A colourful sports day of School for Contemporary and Islamic Learning (SCIL) was held here at the Punjab Stadium on Sunday.
Senior and junior students of the school participated in different events. A large number of parents of the students attended the sports day and appreciated their children performances before a big gathering.
It was an impressive and well-organised sports day where kids competed in different events in a disciplined way. The school management had some competition at their campus while they held gymnastic, athletics, fun races and tug-of-war on the sports day.
The girls and teachers of the school were in veils and all the girls participated in different events with the same dresses. The atmosphere during the ceremony was all Islamic as there was a continuous recitation of the holy book on the sound system in the back ground while the spectators were not applauding but saying Subhan Allah and Allah-o-Akbar and innocent kids in colourful clothes looked like angles.
